How to Cook/Use Spaghetti Squash

Fall is here and winter is close so we thought we should bring out some of the great fall/winter foods.  Spaghetti squash is not only nutritious but is also great for those needing a replacement for high carb foods like pasta.  Check out some recipes below:


Baked Spaghetti Squash


- 1 spaghetti squash

- Little bit of olive oil

- Salt and pepper to taste



- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F

- Lightly coat baking sheet with olive oil

- Cut squash in half length wise and scrape out the seeds

- Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle salt and pepper

- Place squash face down onto baking sheet and bake for 40 minutes

- Scrape the inside of the squash with a fork to create long strands that look like spaghetti


One of those meals that makes you feel good inside


Spaghetti Squash & Meatballs


- 1 spaghetti squash

- Little bit of olive oil

- Salt and pepper to taste

- 1 serving of meatballs (turkey is the healthier option)

- 1 cup of pasta sauce

- Put spaghetti squash "noodles" into a bowl

- Pour pasta sauce and meatballs on top
